HEADLINE GOES HERE... WELL IT WOULD IF I COULD THINK OF ONE
I've been so busy for the last two weeks, I don't know what's up and what's down. I'm through with the football sections. They look pretty good, but there are some minor things that collectively will keep them from being either good clips or contest copies I think. We're halfway through our first football weekend and all things are going good right now.
Marcus and I will be headed to our nation's capital in a few days. I'm excited to be road tripping and really excited to see Stacy and Geoffrey. (I hope they know we're coming). It will be good to slow down for a couple days and let the world catch up with me. I really haven't kept up with anything since. Apparently the baseball players aren't going on strike. (Big deal, I quit watching it for pleasure days ago). I'm also not in Darlington for the Southern 500 for the first time in a couple years. It's weird to know NASCAR is racing nearby, but when I got back from my "internship" with the IRL, I had no desire to go, so I skipped it.
Tomorrow, college football starts for real around here. But it will also be the last time I'll see my friend Erin for a whileh. She was our photo intern and will be going back to school at Ohio University. There will be a party, so hopefully, I'll get to say goodbye. If not, take care Hipolito :)
Anyways, that's all for now I just thought I would let the world know I was still around. So if you see the world, please pass along my greetings.
Love ya.
Mean it.
Buh-bye.

ONE DOWN TWO TO GO...
Yippee! The first football tab is complete. By the time I get to work later today, I will have a copy of it. Huzzah! I am so happy to be done with it.
If you are here looking for photos of the party on Sunday, I'm still working on the photos... They will be up soon.
Until then, go to my friend Emily's page. She has some!

YEAH, I KNOW IT'S BEEN A WHILE....
Remember when I updated my blog every day? Yeah, so do I. I've been slacking about some of my outside projects. Sorry to everyone who has been waiting with baited breath of my latest exploits. Truth is, nothing is really going on. My life is pretty boring. I'm currently working on the football tabs. It's basically a very time consuming project, but I hope to make some serious progress this weekend.
I've bought a few new video games, so I really haven't made time for the computer. If you're wondering what I bought. I have NCAA 2003 for the Gamecube and Madden 2003 for the PS2. So you can imagine I've been putting in some time with those. Speaking of those games, the local cable company has been hounding me for the better part of the year to buy the Charter Pipeline high speed access. I decided to order the service so I could use the online feature of the game. But I have been informed that Charter does not offer the service in my neighborhood. Which brings me to the question, why do the telemarketers call me. This is another reason I don't answer the phone straight away.
A quickie CD review: The new Nickel Creek CD is very good. It's quite different from the first CD they released but I'm quite enjoying it. My favorite song is Green and Grey, which is a song I first heard live at a show in Asheville.
Well that should be enough to appease my one loyal reader :)... Bugs are bad.

DOGDAYS ROLL ON...
Wow, where does the time go. One day it's the fourth of July and the next, it's August. The month of July went really fast, but I guess a lot of it had to do with my schedule.
Since it's been nearly a week since my last post, but it seems like I haven't really kept up with anything for the last three months. For those of you who care, here's an update of what's been going on with me.
Spent last weekend in the Irish Hills of Michigan, and went to Canada last week as part of my trip. No, I did not try to seek asylum there. Windsor, Ontario isn't uniquely Canadian like Toronto or Quebec, but we did have a funny experience as we crossed the border. It went something like this: Names omitted to protect the innocent.
CANADIAN CUSTOMS AGENT: Where you going, eh?
U.S. DRIVER: Canada.
CANADIAN CUSTOMS AGENT: I kind of figured that since you'll already here. Where are you going in Canada?
U.S. DRIVER: Oh, I think we'll head up North and do some sightseeing. (Not knowing the North was the direction from which we came from Detroit)
CANADIAN CUSTOMS AGENT: (Rolls eyes) Move along now....
Anyways, I thought it was funny, but you had to be there... The Michigan race concluded my month-long "internship" with the IRL. The experience was great. I got to work with some great people and experienced a lot of things I would never get to do here in Anderson. I hope I get to do something that much fun again soon.
I'm back at the paper now. I'm getting ready for football season, which will be here before we know it. I'm also trying to spend some quality time playing the football video games before I become so sick of the sport that I can't have anything to do with it. Not doing much else. I've sort of became a hermit here in my apartment. I need to get out more
