I THINK I'M GETTING SICK

When I left Indianapolis, I left with a warning that I could get sick. Well it took a week, but I think the combination of being worn down from the trip, playing kickball and a game of catch and the cold temperature of the building has made me sick. Yesterday, I was exhausted the whole day, I came home for dinner, but slept for about two hours instead. Fortunately, I didn't have much work to do, so I skimmed by. Today I feel better, but I hope I can shake this soon.

Other than that, I continue to work the "fireman's schedule" at the paper. I was gone for 15 days, and in the midst of a 10-day stretch. I'll probably have another similar stretch after I get back from Texas this weekend. Speaking of going to Texas, it will be the last time, the entire family may be together with the exception of holidays. We'll soon be spread across the country, Taft and Indhu in Michigan, Joy in Kansas City, Robyn in Ohio or wherever she wants to be and Amanda in San Francisco. I'll be here, or maybe I'll be in Indiana. Who knows? But I'm looking forward to going home.
