TRAVEL PLANS
I finally got my marching orders and for the month of July, I will be spending most of my weekends with the Indy Racing League. I'll be doing what I normally do for them (pit note reporting and the like) at the races in Kansas, Nashville and Michigan events. It's exciting for me, because I'll get to see the friends from the IRL again, and I've never been to any of those tracks or cities, so it will be a new experiece all the way around. Hopefully, this is the start of finally getting into racing. Don't get me wrong. I never thought working in newspapers wasn't right for me, and who knows, maybe I can get a newspaper job that deals with racing.

Speaking of orders, I talked to an old friend of mine from Tech. He's a captain in the Air Force and he's heading back to the desert as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. If you get a spare moment. Please include Mark LaDrew in your good thoughs. He'll be there for almost two months. I've got a number of friends in the military, but Mark is the only one I know who is actually taking part in the War.

Other than that...I'm really looking forward to the football games coming out for the PS2. I'll probably get a cable modem soon, so I can play some people I know online. ... The Cube also has some games I really want to try. ... World Cup Final should be really good. Brazil is fun to watch. Germany is very disciplined. I think the Soccer Samba Kings take back the Cup... I finally got on my bike the other day. Didn't go far, just around Charleston Way. But I needed to ride it. Maybe I'll take it out to the Civic Center in a couple of days...

Check out those links below this... there pretty funny, except the educational one. It's well... educational.
