SLOW DAY
I used to like slow sports days. It let me catch up with a bunch of stuff on the internet and I don't have to work very hard. But today was just plain boring.

I went out after work last night to Corbett McGee's, and after a few cocktails and conversations, finally got home at around 3:30 p.m. The bad thing about drinking is while it makes really drowsy, and I don't sleep all that long when I've had a lot to drink.

I woke up around 7:30 and fought off waking up until 10. I caught up with all the TiVo recordings I had that I hadn't seen this week, and by the time 3 p.m. came around, I was chomping at the bit to get to work today.

So I basically steamrolled all the work I had to do for today by 6:30 p.m. Of course it helps when it's a slow sports day that Wimbledon and the Tour de France are on the front. And it also helps when your local stuff is done in advance. It's now 10:45, I'm done. I have nothing more to do, but check pages and I'm bored off my ass.

I watched even got to watch the whole IndyCar race that I planned on watching via TiVo later tongiht. So who knows what I'll do now.

Geez I'm so bored.

Good news: I'm going to visit Marcus in Charleston this week.
