26 Hours In Indianapolis

I'm back in Indiana after spending the last five days in Texas. It's good to start this long stretch of season in Texas, because the trip back home in October will be a good carrot to chase after for the rest of the year.

Not a long stay here at the apartment. Just long enough to do laundry, catch a nap and clear off some of the backlog of shows on the TiVo. Tomorrow we're off to Milwaukee for an Open Test at the Milwaukee Mile. Hopefully, we'll be able to take in some interleague baseball courtesy the Milwaukee Brewers.

Anyways, the trip home, though short, was very good. My dad went to the his first race at Texas Motor Speedway and seemed to enjoy it a lot. I got to spend some time with my parents, and though I didn't see many of my friends from back home, I did get to see many of the people I know from TMS.

But it's only the start of the hectic time of year.
