HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY

Fond wishes to all my readers out there (and you know who you are) for a safe Independence Day. If you are not working today, please think of me slaving away at my desk so working on a newspaper that will sit on a lawn while people are away for the three-day weekend. I'm not bitter about working on holidays... no not at all.

Also, since I just read this on Marcus' site. Congrats to my friends, and owners of the cutest puppy in Anderson, Ian (no website) and Emily on their engagement.

All my friends and family are having babies or getting married. To borrow a phrase from the soon to be married Geoffrey, "Man alive (borrowed phrase), I'm so behind in this game of life."
