SO THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE DO ON WEEKENDS

When I worked at the newspaper, I got in the habit of getting up late and then rushing through errands before I had to go to work. Now that I have a job that limits that ability, I have to do it all on the weekend.

I got up early today because I had to get my passport renewed -- in April, my new job will take me to Japan, but my last passport expired six months ago. So I had to get up early to get to the only place in Indianapolis that does Saturday passport processing. Unfortunately that post office told me I had to file by mail, so I just had to get my photo taken at the post office and sent it off. Hopefully I did everything right.

But getting up early gave me the chance to runto get some stuff that I needed. And I finally decided to see the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. It was a very good miovie and glad I took the time to see it. Maybe next I can take in Miracle.

Other than that, life is kinda hectic as the first race rapidly approaches. Lots of work to do before Friday, when we leave for Miami.
